The Soper's World Story Map is accompanied by a series of exercises for school students, with a suggested age range of 11–15 (Junior High). These exercises aim to give students the skillset to analyze Canadian history within a Northern context, for instance by addressing Inuit history, Arctic exploration and different ideas of land use:
